The success of using Facebook as a storefront depends on how well the business relates to the social communities it attracts. Restaurants, travel, entertainment and some organizations are good candidates for leveraging the social nature of Facebook. The Facebook storefront can also be a cost-effective alternative for a small business that does not have a separate business website. Personality and human connection is a huge plus in retaining and growing business via Facebook. Evaluate what is right for you - don't blindly follow the herd - be it toward or away from a Facebook storefront
